Audio Systems: Decoding HD Audio, recording engineer, audio dts

If my Blu-ray player and my receiver has the ability to decode HD-master audio & DTS-HD which one should I use to decode? Does it matter?

Which ever sounds best to you. But, DTS is mainly for DTS mastered discs.  However, as an old recording engineer I believe there is a lot of witchcraft in mastering multi-channel audio.  So, again, which ever sounds the best to your ears.  Sound quality is highly subjective.  Any comments from you music officianados our there?
