Audio Systems: capacitor brand & farads, amplifier power, best bet

Question
i have a hifonics 2610d its 850wattts rms x 4ohms, 1700watts rms x 2ohms and 2600watts rms x 1 ohm. it will be connected to a kinetic 2000amp battery. this is my first capacitor and i want to know what brands are the best fo these and how many true farads should i neeed for my system.

Answer
To be honest, about any 20-VDC cap you like will work. Be sure it (or they) have the connection, mounting options and features you need for your install.
I would suggest one Farad per 1000 watts of RMS amplifier power.
When using caps this way, more is usually the best bet.
Your setup could run well on none, it may run a noticeable tad better with 3-5 Farads.
I saw 3Kw systems with 11 Farads back in the early 90's and I would consider that overkill (though they did look nice in their plexi-array).

I would say 2.5 to 5 Farads.  How much fun can you afford? :D
