Audio Systems: Powered PA speaker cabinet problem, behringer b300, loud pop

Hi, its a Behringer B300 powered speaker. Have it since 2005 and for the last six month was going offline by itself occasionally. Now after 2-4minutes its alwasy go offline after a loud pop. The clipping led remains green, the on line red led goes off. It flickers when cycling the power switch to off. After selecting power switch to on, sound comes back...

I'm looking for a troubleshooting guide to determine which is the culprit. (AMPS, crossover, cooling protection...)

It sounds like either a protect issue, an intermittent component, an internal connection (as as circuit board connection). If the unit is in warranty take it back to where you bought it. If it's out of warranty you might want to call Behringer tech support. If you are a technician who can bench it and have the equipment and experience to check it's vitals, then you will need the service manual to check voltages and components at the various stages against the printed specs.
