Audio Systems: headphone wiring, time scott, speaker wires

I have a pyle plcd16 car stereo.I am wiring a stereo headphone set to the radio. I have two different headphones. One is a Koss rated at 16 ohm, and one is a j&m,rated at  50-75 ohm. The output voltage from the speaker wires are about 6.2 to ground.  Thanks for you time Scott.

Not a good idea as headphones can only tolerate about 1/4 watt each side. It's also illegal for the driver to wear headphones in most areas.

16 ohm would be 2.4 watts
75 ohm would be 0.51 watts

I don't know the manufacturer but I have seen such devices on the web that allow this type of connection at the proper specs. Impedance matching transformers.

There are amplified headphone splitters too.
