Audio Systems: kenwood kdc-2022 output wires., watts rms, rca outputs

Question
I just bought a Kenwood off of my buddy. it doesn't have a manual and I was wondering how to use the front and rear RCA outputs. I'm not sure if they're for an amp.

Answer
All RCA outputs are for amplifiers. Typically a 4-channel amp would be used along with replacing the speakers to handle the power. Stock speakers can only handle about 15 watts RMS.

If you plan on using these, look for a CEA-2006 compliant amp with speakers to match the power handling at the ohm load rating (4 ohm).
