Audio Systems: 1998 Nissan Maxima factory CD player not playing burned CDs, nissan maxima, factory cd

Hi, I have a 1998 Nissan Maxima which has a company CD player. It does play original CDs but does not play burned CDs. I tried with Data CD then changed to Audio CD, tried different formats like WMA, AU, WAV etc but none seem to be working. The CD runs on the player but no sound comes out.

I have a Dell Insp 640 with the DVD double layer burner. And ve Maxell audio CDs, Could you please offer me a solution?

Until recently, many OEM stereos were unable to play burned CDs, even in simple audio format. Your best solutions are an mp3 player with an fm modulator (I used an ipod and a Belkin cig. plug fm unit with great success) or upgrade to a new after market stereo.
