Audio Systems: stolen stereo, fuse panel, alpine cd

Question
Hi. My stereo was stolen out of my 91 Honda Civic! I have another Alpine CD
player stereo that I want to install, but there are only 3 wires(red, white and blue)
left in the dash! The new stereo has two connectors attached to it, but I dont
understand how to connect it to the wiring since there are only 3 wires! Is it
possible to install this new stereo or has my car been vandalized beyond repair?

Answer
When the thieves pulled the head unit, they must have ripped most of the wires out of the car. Don't despair, it just means running new wires to the speakers. In most cases, an expert stereo shop can find the connections at the doors, and not have to go to each speaker. Then the power wires can be tapped at the fuse panel or steering column. As long as there is 12 volts, ground and speakers, you can have a stereo!
