Audio Systems: Bose Auto 6 CD Changer, nissan dealer, warranty coverage

I have a 2004 Maxima SL with the Bose sound system. From time to time I get check disc errors that usually disappear after changing CD's or re-inserting the same CD multiple times.

I have had a check disk error for about 2 weeks now and I can't fix it. Any suggestions before I take it to the dealer? Thanks.

First step is to get a good quality CD lens cleaning kit and run it through a couple of times.  If that doesn't work and you still have warranty coverage left on your car then take it to the Nissan dealer.  If warranty coverage has expired, I say find a reputable local car audio specialist and they can assist you on finding a suitable replacement to fit your needs.
