Avoid doing this mod unless you have the ENTIRE Bose-equipped car to strip the parts and harnesses out of. The money spent could buy you an amazing aftermarket system that will blow the Bose system away. And yes, there are adaptors that integrate your On-Star service and your vehicle's computer data bus to the aftermarket deck very well.
