Nissan Repair: 2002 nissan sentra gxe, mass air flow sensor, air flow sensor

i had the code 1102 pop up and i nedd to kow what part to ask for in order to fix it.is it the mass air flow sensor?and i was also told that if you replace the air filter and it is a aftermarket that it messes up the maf@

Hi Kristie -

P1102 is the Manifold Abolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor Malfunction - low voltage

P1101 would have been the MAF (Manifold Air Flow)

I have not heard that aftermarket air filters will cause damage to the MAF, but I cxan see if there is excessive back pressure from a poorly manufactured filter where it can cause problems.
