Question -
I have a Blaupunkt Bologna C50 car audio. It has an aux in on the rear pannel.
I have connected a portable Sony Cd player to this aux in.i power the Cd player using a 12V to 4.5V Dc-DC converter which fits in the cigrate lighter slot.

Now my problem is that when i turn on the Cd and start playing it i can hear the inteference noise of the CD motor spining from my car audio speakers, this noise increases as the motor spins faster. This problem does not occur if i use 2 AA batries to power the Cd instead of the DC source.i have tried different portable audio Cd players and this happens for all of them.

Please help me.

the aux was a little yellow plug  you can see the conections take the ground cable there is two left and right sometimes only one will do the trick  and add a piece of cable and run it to the ground of the radio that most likely will take care of the noise

------------------------------------

from the radio manual i found out that thee rear aux in connector port has six pins bus in,bus out,12V,af ground, audio in right and audio in left.

the connector cable has three wires connected to the audio in L and R and the af ground. From what i understood i connected the af ground to the radio supply ground.but that didn't help.

please can u clarify exactly what i should do or is there any other way?

Answer
that plug is for the cd changer and you can change it on the menu to be used as AUX  and not changer i am sure you did that
the ground wire needs a better ground or same ground as your external audio unit

all this because something is wrong on the small power suply that converts the 12v to 4.5

i believe that there is 5 volts on the top next plug on the radio if i am not wrong it is the stering wheel remote
maybe you can take the 5 volts from there for your device
