Audio Systems: Kenwood KRC 208S CD changer error code, kenwood krc, reset button

Hi Jerry,

Recently my car stereo is giving me an error code E 99 when I try to use the CD changer. Is there anything I can do to repair it or clear the code?

Probably not :(
But you can look around on the head unit for a small recessed reset button. That may clear it, If not, it is time for a new one.
If you own a PC, you might consider a cd/cd-r/cdrw MP3 compatible head unit, then you can pretty much nix the changer idea becuase you can have up to 256 tunes per cd.
