Audio Systems: error code, laser pickup, laser lens

I have an eclipse cd3402 car stereo, my problem is when a cd is inserted nothing happens except INFO 3 appears . The radio works fine it's just the cd player that is giving me issues. Can you help?

Most likely the laser pickup is dirty, dusty or it has smoke on it. The laser may also be weak or defective altogether. You may want to have someone do a good manual cleaning of the laser lens to see if that helps.
