Audio Systems: Aftermarket Stereo Problem, panasonic cq, spindle motor

Question
Hi,
I had recently changed my aiwa which broke (I think) to panasonic CQ-Df602U the problem is when I connected everything and turn on the ignition the CD makes some strange noise like there is a cd stock inside however there is non. And now I recall I had the same problem with the AIWA and thats why I thought it broke. Could there bee any problem with polarity or my wiring which could cause the motor inside the cd spin into the apposite way. Please let me know what you think.

Answer
Marat,
It's unlikely that the DC source is reversed, if it were the fuse would blow due to the reverse polarity diode in the radio. What makes you think that the CD motor is spinning in reverse? On most CD players the CD load and spindle motor will turn for reset when turning on the key. Some times they will operate for 5 to 8 seconds or more. If you are talking about a CD changer, these units will go through all the disc trays looking for any disc that may be in a tray. This process can take 1 minute or more to complete(normally)
