Audio Systems: Sub Amp Install, bose amp, porsche cayenne

Hi,

I recently bought a 2004 porsche cayenne s. I like the car, but think the factory installed Bose stereo navigation leaves something to be desired. I was wondering if you could tell me a good way of replacing the current factory installed Bose 5" subwoofer in the back with a 12" sub and amp. I am pretty proficient with the amp install and sub setup, but wanted to know how I could use the current Bose Sub output.

Hello Sami,
Yes you can use the Bose amp, however you will need the adapter that plugs into the amp so you don't have to cut wires. On some of the Bose amps they have a RCA jack that you can use. Replacing the 5" speaker with a 12" may take some doing, because of the limited space for the 12" speaker.
