Audi Repair: Audi A3 1.9 TDI, audi a3, noticeable loss

My Audi has lost most of its power - although it still starts 1st time and drive perfectly.  My initial thought was a Turbo fault but I have no smoke from the exhaust or a noticeable loss in economy - It has been suggested that it could be something to do with air inflow?

I would check the turbo anyway, also check for an exhaust blockage.  You can also check the inlet, air filter etc. to ensure all the flows are good.  If economy is still OK and this is purely a power thing, it is unusual since the two typically go hand in hand.  Anything been done to the car recently?  Let me know,  Jan
