Where is the engine air cleaner located on a 2003 A6?

I cannot post pictures, but if you follow the black hoses from the back of the engine to the passenger side, you will see about a foot long by 1/2 ft wide black plastic container with metal clips.  Undo the metal clips and the air filter can be removed.  You may need to remove some of the inlet hosing to get to it properly.  Hope this helps,  Jan
