Audi Repair: Fuse (?) question, 2003 hyundai sonata, hyundai sonata

Question
I have a question that probably isn't specific to car make and model, but if
you must know, it's a 2003 Hyundai Sonata GLS 6 cylinder.  Recently a lot of
my bulbs stopped working -- I noticed when I remote-locked the car and
only one side flashed.  The offenders: Right front blinker, right rear blinker,
right front fog light.  My left front headlight is out, too, but that was a
different time and I think it's legit, having just replaced the right (which
works, thank god).  I thought I was all set with a quick fix and yesterday I
replaced all of the bulbs on the right side, hit lock, and they were still out.  I
then checked the "dead" bulbs in the other side, and they still work.  Fuse?  I
checked the fuses and they're all fine (I think).

Here's the tricky part:  I had my hazards on and saw that ALL of my lights
worked -- they just don't work when I lock my car.  How is that possible?
What's a possible fix?

Thanks in advance, from one expert to another.
Matt

Answer
It sounds like the connection from the remote locking to the turn signals and fog lights is faulty.  Is it an after market remote lock system?  If the signals work with the hazard swithc, you know all the bulbs and fuses are OK, so it has to be the actuating circuit in the locking module.  Let me know what you find,  Jan
