Audi Repair: 12V TBelt Risk, crank pulley, head bolts

Question
Greg

I'm about to change the TBelt on my 1994 90s 2.8L.  I have all the tools, instructions, etc.  In my scanning the net it appears that the biggest recurring issue is rounding off (or in) the allen head bolts holding the crank pulley/damper on.  Other than cleaning the heads and making sure the wrench is seated are there any tip to avoiding this?

Thanks
PZ

Answer
hello
Just good luck, but try to use new or almost new allen key.It always worked for me. You can also hit the wrench with a hummer just to make sure it's all the way inside and sometimes it helps to brake the bolts loose.
