Audi Repair: Audi AC very warm, audi tt, coolant

Hi Greg,

this maybe a very stupid question, but I am a girl!
My air con on my audi TT is blowing out hot and i gather this
will be because there is no coolant left?
do I need to take it in to a garage to get it filled up, or can I buy
the coolant myself and put it in!

this is the first time to see something from the lady.
I will try my best to help you out.
SO, If your A/C is not working rigth I will just go to some garage and let them fill it and put some die in the system, what will show where the leak is ( if there is any ).
COOLANT, on the other hand , is used in the cooling system for the engine. So if your coolant is LO you may over heat the engine (NO GOOD), but if your freon ( used on A/C system) is LO, let some shop fix it for you.
