Auto Airbag System Repair: air bag light, dodge ram 1500, driver airbag

Question
I have a 2006 dodge ram 1500, i just had the wiper switch replaced ,now the air bag light on the dash is on, what would cause this?

Hi Russell:

Sorry about your truck.  The first thing that comes to mind is that the tech may have left a wire unplugged that goes under the wiper switch to the clockspring and driver airbag inside the lower steering column cover.  Short of that, you will need to scan the system to see where the problem is.
