Cadillac Repair: 2005 caddillac anti theft, fuse box, description sound

after jump starting my car with a portable power pak, my anti theft indicator came on, my key wont come out of ignition, my temp and gas gage don't work, the driver info center isn't working either and the traction control light is on. dealer has had it a full day with no answers.

Your description sound like the gauge fuse or fusible link if so equipped is blown.
Removal of the key I can't explain except for possibly not going fully into PARK and a solenoid is not working. It is very difficult to determine the problem without being at the vehicle, but I question just how competent the dealer tech is that looked at your car.

Your description as I said makes me question the guage fuse. If you jumped the battery by hooking positive to negative, there is a very good chance that is the result.
