QuestionQUESTION: My car is cutting off while slowing down, stopping or turning. When slow down it makes a jerking motion and cuts off. Any idea what the problem might be?

QUESTION: The problem just started about a week ago. The service engine light is on. I'm going to take it into the shop later this week but if it's something I can do myself I would rather do that to save money.
