Cadillac Repair: 95 deville ac clutch wont engage, metal shavings, ac compressor

Question
bought a 95 deville with a blown ac compressor. replaced the compressor, receiver, and orifice tube.  tube was dirty and had some metal shavings.  vacuumed the system no leaks.  put in 2 cans of 134a before i started the car.  then i started the car and turned the ac on.  the clutch was kicking on and off for a couple of minutes.  when i began to put the third can in the clutch just stopped.  i checked for codes but there weren't any.  could you tell me how to get the clutch working again. thanx

Answer
I have NOT used this method, But I have heard that some people simply disconnect the battery for a minute and reconnect it and put the control panel on AC and the compressor will re-engage.

My method is to jumper the AC relay and finish putting in the remainder of the freon.

If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture. I do not have a website so you will have to e-mail: onlineautohelp@msn.com in order to obtain the information.
