QuestionQUESTION: My dashboard has been acting up, it turns off and on whenever it feels. When it is off the speedometer, gas gauge, the RPM gauge, and the odometer doesnt work. Even the radio display turns off, but the radio still works, you just cant see what station it is on. But thing that really trips me out is the windshield air turns on and i cant turn it off.
Does anyone know what the problem is?? or how to fix it??
Another question..... how do you check the diagnostics through the dashboard??
someone once told me that you are able to do a diagnostic check through the dashboard with out having to go to a shop and have it done, but i forgot how they told me to do it...
ANSWER: 1. Ignition switch ON. Engine NOT running.
2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons on your climate control panel for 3 seconds and release them.
3. Fault CODES will start to appear in the form of LETTERS & NUMBERS and along with each code that displays will be the word CURRENT or history.
4. The display will stop at ECM?
5. Turn ignition key off.
6. let me know what codes you get and which ones are CURRENT or HISTORY.

AnswerE015 means that you have a faulty coolant sensor that needs to be replaced.
A011 means that there is a fault in the high side A/C temperature circuit that needs to be tested.
All the history codes are intermittent codes and are of no concern at this time.
What you need to do is unplug the wires that go into the CLIMATE CONTROL PANEL DISPLAY unit and then see if your dash lights return. If they DO, replace the CLIMATE CONTROL PANEL DISPLAY unit.
