Cadillac Repair: fuel injectors, fuel injectors, electrical connector

Question
I recently took my 1991 eldorado to a repair shop because it was running very choppy. I was told that the fuel pump needed to be replaced. After replacing pump vehicle ran fine for one day. I took it back to the repair shop and now they are telling me that the fuses for the fuel injectors keep blowing because fuel injectors are shorting out and need to be replaced. Is that something that sounds feasible? Can that be the cause?

Answer
Sounds slike they are GUESSING as to what the problem is. I estimate that I have only seen a handful of shorted injectors in over 20 years. You can disconnect the 2 wire electrical connector from the injector and check the OHMS reading of both injectors and see if they OHM out about the same.
