Cadillac Repair: 97 caddy deville, cadillac dealer, auto auction

Ok I bought this 97 deville and I took it to the local cadillac dealer and tried to find out what was the problem.I bought the car at a auto auction and it had alarm problem on it.When I try to start it it does not make a sound so the cadillac told me it had 11 or 12 computers.They told me the computer that connects to the engine that is messed up.They gave me a paper with a bunch of codes it has.I think that the errors are because of the computer.If you would like I could fax to you the codes.I want to buy the computer but have no idea how much it cost.Please help me if you would like you could call me at 954 868 9736.

You can check for CODES yourself by doing the following

1. 1. Turn ignition switch ON. Do NOT start engine.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER (^) buttons for 3 seconds and release them.

3. On your FUEL DATA display the CODES will appaer along with thwe word CURRENT (C) or HISTORY (H) with EACH CODE THAT DISPPLAYS.

4. The codes will STOP when you see PCM?

5. Write down EXACTLY what displays EXACTLY as it appears on the fuel data panel and let me know what you get.

6. Turn ignition switch OFF.
