Cadillac Repair: 1994 Deville, computer failure, diagnostic programs

Question
Hi, Tom,

We bought our car from a private party just over a year ago.  We've gone through a serpentine belt, replaced the battery and that's about it.

We have been "putting up with" having to turn the key several times to get the car to start but believing it would eventually start and eventually lead to replacing the starter we lived with it.  Last sunday my husband replaced the starter,  we reprogrammed it according to the manual but now as we drive it though the panel lights are all on the speedometer reads 0 and when I step on the gas the car does not accelerate and feels like it wants to stall.

I pulled the codes: P0F2 History
                   I052 History
                   A040 Current
                   No SIR Codes

We sure don't know where to go from here. Any suggestions?

Answer
P0F2 = NO SUCH CODE.

I052 = Battery disconnected/Loss of power to instrument cluster.

A040 = Air mix door problem with AC/Heater operation.

A040 code is probable programmer failure, computer failure, wiring failure, air mix door arm off track.

You will need several pages and PICTURES of the diagnostic programs in order to test the components.
