Cadillac Repair: cadillac steering column, cadillac deville, lock cylinder

Hi Tom,
My son bought a 1979 cadillac deville that the owner didn't have a key for.I took the ignition lock cylinder out and got a key made, but am having trouble getting the steering column back together. Do you know of any on-line diagrams/schematics for this?
(it has both tilt and telecoping)
