Cadillac Repair: battery no charge-cadillac deville 1994, cadillac deville, alternator

I TOOK MY CAR UP TO ADVANCE-- THE GUY SAID MY BATTERY AND MY ALTERNATOR WAS GOOD.. BUT THE ATERNATOR SAID NO OUT PUT? THE HE SAID IT MIGHT BE A WIRE?

Check your computers for fault CODES via:

1. Ignition switch ON, Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold for 3 seconds the OFF and WARMER buttons and release them.

3. Codes will start to appear and will stop when you see PCM?.

4. Write them all down in the EXACT order in which they display and let me know what they are.

5. Turn OFF ignition.
