Cadillac Repair: speed sensitive steering on a 93 sedan deville, air shocks, air tubes

Question
When I put 2 large persons int the backseat of my 93 cad. I can drive for about 30 minutes before my rear suspension starts letting the car rub on the tires. When I stop the compressor isn't running but starts after a minute, pumps the suspension up and I'm good for another 30 minutes. Is this bad struts? If the struts are bad can I install aftermarket struts all around and disable the compressor. Thanks for your time.

Answer
Your most likely fault is a LEAK in the small air tubes from the compressor to the air shocks/struts or the more common fault is the HEIGHT SENSOR located above the axle under the vehicle.

This system works very well and I would NOT recommend altering it's design with an aftermarket setup.
