Question
The engine knocks badly. Water was in the engine oil and it was mildewed when changed. The oil light is on. Can not drive it but it will idle. What damage could bad oil and water have caused to the engine which has only 50,000 miles on it.

Answer
Engine coolant eats away at the main, Rod and camshaft bearings in the engine and causes very severe engine damage.

In most cases a FULL over haul is required but I recommend replacing the engine with a rebuilt engine.


NEVER EVER use a junk yard engine.
