Chevrolet Repair: fuel pumps, chevy cavalier, fuel pumps

Hello,

    My question is actually pretty straight forward. I have a 2001 Chevy Cavalier. It is the standard 2.2 liter. We've diagnosed that it's probably the fuel pump. Luckily one of my relatives has 2 fuel pumps. However, they are from a 2000 and 2002 cavalier, same engines. My question is, do you know if either of those will fit this 2001? I appreciate the help.

HI LARRY,TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION I WOULD SAY YES IT PROBABLY WILL FIT..[[[BUT]]]CALL YOU LOCAL PART STORE UP AND FIND OUT WHAT YEARS ARE THE SAME FOR THE FUEL PUMP. THIS WILL YOU WILL KNOW FOR SURE..SEE IF THE PUMPS FIT FOR 2000 TO SAY 2003..WITH THE SAME PART ###'S...I HAVE NO PART BOOKS HERE TO LOOK THIS INFO UP.. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU,,,TOM...
