Chevrolet Repair: 1998 Chevrolet Blazer, 1998 chevrolet blazer, chevrolet blazer

Question
My 98 chevrolet blazer keeps heating up and I've already replaced the waterpump, thermostat, and thermostat housing

Answer
Hi Belinda... did you check for a bad head gasket... put pressure tester on rad and start truck...watch to see if pressure builds fast...if it does chances are you have gasket problem...also check rad cap on the same tester...it should hold to the pressure marked on the cap...the only other thing it could be since you changed pump and stat, is an air lock in the cooling system...if so you will need to bleed the air out...start truck and remove rad cap let run untill thermostat opens. you would see bubbles in the rad as the air escapes, once thermostat opens coolent should drop in the rad...top up untill it stays full... close rad and top up recovery bottle...hope this helps...merry christmas
