Chevrolet Repair: 4.3 TBI starting problems, coolant temperature sensor, coolant temp

Question
I have a 92 chevrolet k1500 with the 4.3 V6. It will start and run fine but after it runs for awhile it wont start back up for about 8-12 hours. Sometimes after driving it for awhile it will die at idle speed. I have replaced the ignition coil, distributor cap, rotor, plugs, wires, fuel filter. Nothing seems to have help.

I would check the coolant temperature sensor.
