Chevrolet Repair: 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix O2 Sensor, pontiac grand prix, o2 sensor

This is my sons car at college. He stopped at parts store and they said his oxygen showed out by the monitor, is this hard to replace and how to do it.

Hey,

 Just because a car kicks out an oxygen sensor code doesnt mean it needs one.  If the o2 sensor says its reading rich or lean all of the time it may be so.  Have it checked by a technician to see if the sensor is actually reading correctly or if it reading an incorrect fuel ratio calculation.  90 percent of 02 codes are not the o2 senosr.
