Chevrolet Repair: fuel in engine oil, fuel pressure regulator, compression check

Question
we have a new style 4.3L V6 that has a lot of fuel in the engine oil the engine is fuel injected i checked if the fuel pressure regulator diaphram was faulty but was not so i pulled out the plugs and found nothing out of the ordinary did a spark and compression check that was fine so how can this happen and do you have any suggestions?

Answer
Hi Jeremy... is truck hard to start....has it been flooded at any time...a good scan tool can tell you if your injectors are running rich or lean....could be a MAP sensor or temp sensor or 02 sensor problem as the computer useses these sensors for fuel management...change your oil and filter as contamanated oil will affect the fuel management as well....hope this helps
