Question
Hey, I was just wanting to know if a B16A2 would be an easy swap far a 1998 Honda Civic with a 1.6l sohc VTEC. Like what all would i need to replace and about how much would it coust to have a pro put it in for me, and I know alittle about VTEC's but not enof, what does it do to increase HP, Thanks for your time and help

Answer
yes you can put a B16A2 in the civic as it would slot straight in I couldn't give you a price sorry as different places charge you different prices vtec is a variable valve timing and electronic lift control system it times your cams making the car faster and it kicks in at a certain RPM level but if you want it to kick in sooner you will need to buy a vtec controller. If you need anymore questions answered please feel free to ask. Kind Regards Dean Thomas.
