Question
have have oil leaking above the oil filter(oil filter housing maybe) where the housing and engine meets, is there a gasket there and how do i fix it. i think the oil filter was put on to tight at last oil change 2 weeks ago.

Answer
Hi John,
Yes, there is a gasket where the housing bolts to the engine block.
The filter needs to be removed, and then the bolts can be accessed.
NAPA has a gasket and seal kit for that. http://www.napaonline.com/MasterPages/NOLMaster.aspx?PageId=470&LineCode=FPG&Par...

Other parts houses probably do also.
I don't know what engine you have, but go to www.autozone.com, and look at this. ES72671, or click on this. http://www.autozone.com/N,15301268/shopping/partTypeResultSet.htm

That is a gasket and seal kit for the filter base on a 350.
