Chevrolet Repair: 1994 astro ext van quit, chevy astro, fuse block

Question
my 94 chevy astro ext 4.3 2 wheel drive started hesitating and the service light went on for a second, icame out of the store and it wouldnt start and the lights wont work, the tow driver said it was my fuel pump, but how could it be that if the lights wont work, battery is good, where is the fuse box in the van and where is the other fuse box in the motor? i bought this van new and i have 47000 miles, please help.

Answer
The underhood fuse block is on the drivers side near the left fender.  The van fuse box is under the drivers side dash board near the parking brake lever.  From your description of the problem I cannot tell if the van is cranking or not.  Also I cannot check certain things such as fuel psi.   If the van is not cranking I would think that your alternator is not working causing the battetry to discharge.
