Chevrolet Repair: 2005 AWD Astro work van blower problem, blower motor resistor, windshield washer

My 05 Astro awd work van a/c blower motor recently quit working on high speed. I do appliance repair and can usually figure out these types of problems, but I have changed the relay and blower switch on the dash. All speeds work except high and I admit defeat. Can you help me figure this out???

Hi Mike, This problem is almost always the blower motor resistor relay assembly! It is located behind the coolant and windshield washer jugs. The harness that plugs into the resistor can also melt so be sure to check the connector too. The new resistor is a new design so you will need to open the mounting hole up so the new larger resistor will fit into the hole.
