i replaced the temperture sensor on my daughters car,now the guage works,but fan is not comming on.how do i test to see if its fan oe realy,also were is the fan relay.it is cooling fan,thanks jim

I would first verify that the fan is actually not working.
Let the engine idle for an extended time. Either the fan will come on or the engine temp light will come on. Keep running the engine until either one of them happens.The engine needs to get well over 200 degrees before the fan will come on.

If the temp light comes on and the fan does not, Switch the fan relay with another same relay in the relay center and see if the fan comes on or the temp light again.

Any further diagnosis will require some electrical skills.

Cooling fan relay should be in the underhood fuse/relay center.
