Chevrolet Repair: 1996 Chevy S10 2.2 L 4 cyl, 5 speed dies, electro magnetic interference, high tension wires

Question
My truck will die while driving down the road at highway speeds.  It feels like the ignition is turned off.  All dash lights are on, the aftermarket tach drops to zero although the engine is still engaged and spinning.  The ABS light comes on as well as everything else.  It is always in the morning, and within 5 to 22 miles after starting out.  The battery spins the engine over great, but no attempt at starting.  After 5-10 minutes it will start right up and run fine.  I have replaced the magnetic crankshaft sensor.  I've disconnected the tach and it still did it.  No engine codes. I've swapped out the fuel pump relay with another relay, no help.  The engine runs fine other than this, no drop in power, no missing, etc.

Answer
Is it always near high tension wires or some other source of electro magnetic interference. If it is maybe you have an induced emi causing the engine to stall.  Other than that it could be your fuel pump.  Sorry that is the only advice I have without being able to drive and check the truck out.
