Chevrolet Repair: 99 Monte Carlo Stumbling and surges, throttle position sensor, top tier gasoline

Question
My wife's car is acting up. Cranks, idles fine, when driving the engine will stumble. RPM needle jumps all over. When she slows down to stop engine will sometimes die, But cranks back up fine. Replaced plugs, wires, Throttle position sensor, fuel filter. Car runs fine at times then starts all over again. Hand scanner reports misfire on no.1 cylinder. Could it be MAF sensor? Please point me in the direction to go. I am almost ready to pull out the rest of my hair.

Answer
If the #1 cylinder is misfiring, it's either a engine mechanical problem...valve, piston, etc. Or a defective spark plug, defective spark plug wire, defective coil(less likely thou), or a defective or clogged injector.

Fuel injectors have had some problem clogging. You try getting them cleaned.

After it fixed use only Top Tier gasoline. www.toptiergas.com
