Cannot get any acceleration. This is my last vehicle and I need to fix. I got rear ended in other car and it's gone Please HELP?

Answer
Hi Greg, Not sure if I can help you with this one. It's been a very long time sence I have worked on a 1984. I think it is a carb engine right. If so the problem could be dirt in the float bowl or the mixture control solenoid has gone bad. These were a common thing in those years.

Hope this helps
