Chevrolet Repair: blinker lights, chevy cavalier, amp fuse

I bought fuses for blinker/flashers for 2005 Chevy Cavalier.
They work until I put car in gear then fuse immediately burns out. Tried higher amp fuse-still burns out same way. Do you have any idea why???

I don't have a schematic with to see what else is on that circuit. Try disconnectig all the bulbs on that circuit one at a time to see if the short goes away. You will go through severl fuses doing this. DO NOT put a larger fuse in the circuit.

If this does not fix the problem, I suggest you take it in to get repaired unless you have some diagnostic expierence.
