Chevrolet Repair: Chevy Trailblazer AC blower control module, chevy trailblazer, automatic climate control

Question
I have a 2004 Trailblazer LT with automatic climate control. First I noticed the front fan still running (at low speed) after turning off the ignition switch, two days later the fan stopped working. I researched in the Internet and bought a new blower control module (ACDELCO 15-80567) from rockauto. I installed it with the switch off and the blower ran at max. speed. That is the way it works regardless any attempt of manual control or turn off the AC. That was yesterday, today it worked perfectly for 10 minutes when started the car and plugged in the module at A-B-C connector, then, full throttle and did not stop. It was really hot at the aluminum wings... I got burned.
Could you please advise what is bad here? Could be faulty the brand new blower control module I bought?
Thanks in advance.

Answer
Hi Pavel, The only part that has gone bad on these trucks is the resisitor. I would have to say the new is bad too, be sure to check the terminals in the connector for the resistor. I have seen them melt in the connector, they sell a new connector if this has happened.
