Chevrolet Repair: heater problems, chev cavalier, blower motor

on my 92 chev cavalier 2.2 liter i am having heater problems the fan works on high only and even though you can hear the fan working there is no air coming out of any of the heater ports. How do I fix this ??

Hi Jim,  The first thing you need to do is remove the blower motor and check it it out. See if it is full of debris or the fan is broken. There should be air coming out of at least one of the ducts if the fan is working so I think the problem is with the blower motor. If the motor only works on high the resistor for the speeds is the common problem.
