What are the steps to replacing altenator? Do we need to remove the dog house? If so what are the steps to do that?

Hi Janet,
I don't have detailed step by step instructions...you'll need to see a repair manual for that.
To my best recollection you have to remove the engine compartment cover to access one bolt from the rear of the alternator plus the wiring. The other bolts can be accessed from under the hood. Remember to disconnect the negative terminal of the battery before starting.
