Questionyeah i was wondering if U might know y my car would run like crap after i take it for a run, it runs good but when U get on it its slow not like it was its a 1985 Monte Carlo with a chevy 350 bored 30 over with stock heads and 1500-5500 cam with stock intake and 600 cfm carb.
AnswerI would first connect a fuel pressure tester, and make sure it isn't starving for fuel.
I assume the fuel filter is clean?
Make sure there is a vented cap on the gas tank also, so a vacuum isn't forming in the tank.
Then connect a vacuum guage, and see if the vacuum is dropping, like from a plugged up exhaust system, unless you have headers and glasspacks, or some type of performance exhaust.
